The Shelfort Hotel that has only 15 rooms is situated close to the city center on Vasilievsky Island. The location is perfect for sightseeing, while it combines peaceful surroundings of the historical district with ease of access to the city center (the nearest metro stations, the Vasileostrovskaya, is just 500 meters from the Shelfort).

The mini-hotel occupies several floors in the beautiful building that dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. Before the hotel opening in 2001 the building was totally reconstructed and all rooms were repaired and refurbished. So nowadays the Shelfort Hotel offers a high quality service and international standards.

The visitors may enter the Shelfort only under the permission of the concierge. Guests of the mini-hotel are recommended to keep their valuables in the hotel safes. The suite that measures 35 sq. m. consists of a bedroom, a sitting room, a hall and a bathroom. Suites feature the restored fireplaces adorned with original tiles dating back to the first half of the 20th century.

The room rates include continental breakfast that is served in the Dimetra Bar situated next to the hotel while the Shelfort itself doesn't have a restaurant. The bar specializes in Russian and European cuisines.
